This interactive dashboard shows how sports data can be turned into actionable insights using modern business intelligence tools. A fictional league of four academies and over seventy players demonstrates how teams, players, and match statistics are analyzed in one place.

Context
Business problem & solution
Sports organizations produce large amounts of performance data from matches, training, and player stats. That information is often spread across spreadsheets and match reports, making it hard for coaches, analysts, and management to evaluate performance and spot trends quickly.
This project shows how a structured analytics approach turns raw sports data into useful insights. A simulated soccer academy league dataset was built to model team standings, player performance, and match outcomes. Using Power BI, the data was organized into a relational model and visualized in interactive dashboards so users can explore league performance at team and player level. The result is a single view where users can analyze rankings, identify top goal scorers and assist leaders, and compare attacking and defensive strength across academies — supporting tactical decisions, talent development, and performance monitoring.
